Talo Construction is a boutique building company based in Fremantle, Western Australia.
In a competitive industry, the owner needed to reposition the brand to a more niche audience. I was brought on board to help clarify the brand’s identity and bring about a voice that represented the owner’s passion for working with high-end architectural builds.
Working with the company’s director, James Anderson, I created a brand story championing those values and a more literary voice that resembled the architects he wanted to work with.
I also helped subcontract a branding agency who could help compliment this new positioning by creating a new visual identity and website.

"At the time, we were looking to rebrand our Company, Talo. Jayden was pivotal in making this happen. Over a series of sessions, Jayden was able to understand who we are as a brand and put it on paper perfectly. He made the whole process easy and enjoyable. And we really appreciated his laid back but professional and attentive approach. We couldn’t be more happy with the result. We look forward to working with him in the future.”

About
Talo are builders of considered architecture.
We believe good design makes life better—for society and the individual. We partner with architects, accordingly, to make design-based projects a reality.
As an owner-operator company, we personally liaise with the team throughout the project: from initial meetings to managing the site to the working with the craftsman who execute the finishes that inspire delight in the architect and the client.
This way, we can carry the thought and care that’s gone into the design through to the end product.
Case studies
“Owner and architect Kate Fitzgerald wanted to create a prototype that was relevant to a younger generation: a home that was versatile, minimal and highly sustainable.
We worked with Kate from the start, providing build solutions that involved featuring materials that were thermally sound, aged well over time and didn’t require cladding or extra finishes—like the recycled brick from the existing house and the insulated, recycled concrete tilt panels…”
